WHY MLM “NETWORK MARKETING”?

Hello-
I am pretty new to Isagenix. Loving it so far.. it’s only been 3 weeks, but I am feeling quite good. I hate to bother you with this.. but I cannot answer this question.. My question is from my sister in law…
She has not tried the product and is very skeptical. Mainly because the products are sold by direct marketing. Here is her question:
“Why did you choose to sell your products through multi level marketing rather then just selling them at health food stores, or on a website, like other companies such as Natures Sunshine?”
I believe she has a bad image of multi level marketing and feels a lot of them are overpriced because of that.. and maybe aren’t good products. As I had said.. I am new to the line, and don’t have answers for her yet… so I thought I go straight to the top and ask you myself, for her.

I am retired now, the Coover’s are the new owners of Isagenix. Jim and Kathy are Co-Founders of Isagenix.
I am the Formulator, Founder and ran all operations of Isagenix as Founder & CEO. The company was exclusively funded by me using no borrowed money. Isagenix has been debt free from day one.
I have been a manufacturer of supplements now for 29 years and formulated 2500 products around the world.
I have seen MLM’s do the industry damage and cause thousands to reject Network Marketing. I even manufactured for lots of them, some successful, and some not.
I have seen greed, self centered egotistical people, thieves, and everything you can imagine in this industry.
I retired in 1998, and moved to the beach. Having been been bit by a brown recluse, I had major health problems, including going blind in my left eye, organ damage, 9 foot surgeries, etc.
I found further research that directed me back into the industry to share my findings. The Coover’s were an important part of my decision to continue my Mission in life. The best way we found to share my formulas was to include a network of coaches to help educate and motivate people to understand the correct way to be successful in their health quest.
A system like the 9 day on the Store shelf would not help anyone with their questions, motivation, advice, and success, Failure is a given fact without the important members who give their time to share a better healthy life. Isageinx Members ARE the Company!
Everyone wonders why I spend time on facebook answering questions, “being retired”. I still care! My Mission in life is to help change others lives in health and now financially as well.
My current retirement is due to a kidney transplant caused by the spider! My daughter Kjersti has given me the gift of life! I want to continue to help others as I have been blessed with health to continue.
Network Marketing Rocks! When done with good intent, integrity, and offering quality products, Network Marketing is the best way to share the gift of life!
I am asked this question quite often so don’t feel you are intruding on my Integrity.
I hope your sister will read this and understand there are people in this world who really care!
