Isagenix Cleanse: Before and Afters!

Well…here are the “official” before and after stats. The official weight loss was from 172 to 162, in 10 days. There are a few intangibles though. I have *tons* more energy, every day. So, I’m getting up earlier and getting a lot more done during the day. That’s great. I wish I’d measured my “inches”, because I clearly lost many inches around my neck, waist, torso, thighs. Next time I guess. Again, I’d wished I would have done the 30 day, because I’m about out of product now. I just ate my first crap food in 10 days…a delicious breakfast burrito from the mexican place next door. ham, eggs, cheese, and potatoes. yum.

However, I started with a morning breakfast shake, so I definitely didn’t eat it all. I think that paradigm has shifted, and I’ll be eating better from now on, in general.

Drop me an email or some comments if you need more info.

Isagenix Cleanse, Day 9

At last…the final day of my cleanse!

I feel good today, but better about tomorrow.  I’m excited to transition back into “real” food, but not too much.  I’ll definitely be integrating the shake and cleanse into my everyday life.  The thirty day cleanse comes with 4 cleanse days and enough shake to drink the rest of the time.  So…I heard from another Isagenix cleanse coach a great plan for shake days:

Morning:  Start off with a shake, blended with a banana and a couple frozen strawberries.  Also, hit Ionix Supreme and Natural Accelerator.

Mid Morning: A little snack…some almonds or mini carrots

Lunch: Remaining half of previous night’s dinner.  (see below)

Mid Afternoon: almonds or mini carrots

Pre-Dinner: Another shake, blended with Ice but no fruit

Dinner: Because you’ve already had a shake, you’ll eat half as much of your “regular” dinner, but still get the flavor and sensation of eating.  Save the remaining half for tomorrow’s lunch.

Bedtime: Follow with a nightly shot of Ionix to nourish the body for tomorrow and help me sleep.

This is a great, low-calorie way to get great nutrition, eat healthy, and lose weight or gain energy when you need to.

This is my plan moving forward.

On the business side, we are building a “dream team” of consultants at the top of my organization.  Using our knowledge of social networking, the web, and direct marketing, we’re going to redefine how business is garnered here.  I’m really looking forward to helping as many people as possible!

Stay tuned tomorrow for Before and After pics!

Isagenix Cleanse, Day 8

Blown away.

I did a few preliminary “After” (as in, before and after) shots this morning. I’m not supposed to do “official” ones until Tuesday when these last two cleanse days are done.

I’m blown away by the pictures…and they are only going to get better in the next two days. Just wait til I post ‘em.

Today I’m on a cleanse day. I feel really good…really energetic. Much better than the first cleanse day. That first one is a bear, but this one is pretty easy. You end up a bit hungry, but your energy level is really good.

At any rate…the cleanse gets easier as the days go on. I’m really excited to see the results on Tuesday.

The only drag is, I’ll be out of product, and I’m going to want to keep up with the shakes. So, I’m going to have to order some more product. If you’re considering it, get AT LEAST the 30 day cleanse so you have enough product for the whole month.

Cheers.

Isagenix Cleanse, Day 7

You know…yesterday I mentioned that the shake days were “fairly” easy. that’s not true. The are REALLY easy. I wake up, and I can make a quick shake in 2 minutes. If I get the 30 day cleanse, the shakes are about $2.50 each, which is waaaaaay less than I spend at the coffee shop.

Which reminds me, I haven’t talked about the business much. Today is my two week anniversary with the company. On Monday, I’ll receive my first money from the company. They give you a debit card that automatically connects to my Isagenix account. I don’t expect a bunch of money this time…maybe $200 or so, (Remember…these are MY results…yours might vary quite a bit) but I’ve really enjoyed bringing my friends in and helping them with their health, and hopefully their wealth. My plan is to have my monthly bills paid (maybe around $1500 or so…I haven’t calculated in a while) by the company within 4 months. I think that’s a very attainable goal, as well. And imagine that…if you could do something part time for just 4 months that could potentially pay your mortgage payment. What would that mean to you?

For me, if I have my bills being paid by what amounts to “mailbox money”, and I get additional web/print projects….how much easier will that make my life? I’m making goals to travel for months at a time, and have more money in my bank account when I get home than when I left. Pretty awesome.

I’m at the Isagenix Blitz! event right now in South Denver. A lot of new, potential people here. I’m excited to see what the future brings.

Last two cleanse days tomorrow and Monday. Will be posting Before and After pics and numbers.

Cheers.

Isagenix Cleanse, Day 6

Day 6 was *ok*. The shake cleanse days are fairly easy at this point. I get full on a Vanilla Shake with a banana, a few ice cubes, and a strawberry for flavor. I played racquetball today and had a *horrific* day on the court. I realized afterwords that it was because my timing was off. I think my newfound spryness was getting me to the ball a little quicker. I’m also noticing my shorts a a bit looser to wear, so that’s a good thing.

Anyway…fairly mundane report. I feel good…lots of energy, sleeping better, and down 7 lbs now.

Cool. :)

Quick Post: My 2 minute breakfast with Isagenix

Isagenix Cleanse, Day 5

Last night was my first real “test” of my new, spry self on the racquetball court.  I have to say…I definitely noticed being a little lighter.  I was quick on my feet, and played well.  The downside was…I didn’t have a *ton* of endurance.  I had a lot of short burst speed, but not a lot of “marathon” in me.  That said…I probably overdid it by playing almost 4 hours.  I felt really good for three hours (mostly singles) of playing though.  When I got off the court, I weighed 165lbs.  I haven’t seen that number since “pre ACL tear” in 1997.  I imagine after todays “shake” day, I might even be 164/163, which would be amazing.  If I can somehow be in the 163 zone when I do my two final cleanse days this weekend, I have a shot of getting into the 150′s, which I haven’t seen since my 20′s.  That’s crazy talk.

Today I feel amazing.  I mean…really.  I have TONS of energy, and I’m very sharp.  I woke up, had a breakfast shake with two strawberries and a half a banana.  A couple almonds an hour or so later.  An amazing chicken salad sandwich with bagel chips and spicy cole slaw for lunch at the Bump ‘n Grind Cafe  (They have a great Transvestite Brunch, I’m told) and am about to have my shake for dinner.  I feel great all day, and am not really hungry.  I’ve been working on a website most of the day, and have talked to a few more friends that are interested in the health AND the wealth side of Isagenix.

Life is good.

An open letter to my friends, old and new.

Hi all,

As many of you know, I’ve been achieving quick success with Isagenix, a health and wellness company based out of Phoenix. In a short time, Kenyon Salo and I have built a great sales team, and are very excited about what the future brings. We’re still looking for a few more people to join in our success. I’ve copied you on this because I think you’d be a great fit for our team, and I’d love to share our success with you.

Isagenix is having a “blitz” event in Denver this weekend. It’s Saturday, August 22. Basically, it’s a mini-version of the 4 day seminar I just attended in Los Angeles. It’s a great overview of the company, the product, and the opportunity we all have to, at the very least, bring in some “mailbox money” while financial times are tough.

Below is the info for the event. Ideally, you’d be able to attend the whole thing…but if you want to just find out about the company, you can come from 10-12. If you’re already one of our team members, you can join us from 1:15-4. Thanks!

Isagenix Cleanse, Day 4

So, last night I was on the 2nd day of just drinking the cleanse.  I woke up a little lightheaded from my previous day, but by the afternoon, I felt fantastic.  And I mean…fantastic.  I felt, lean, nimble, and energetic.  I had my second drink of cleanse, then supplemented my afternoon with Isadelights (Chocolates with amino acids to regulate your hunger receptors in your brain.  They really work!), a few almonds here and there, and finally some “Want more Energy?” at about 7 pm.  I had tons of energy, and felt really good by the end of the day.

Woke up today excited to have REAL food for the first time in a few days.  Had the Vanilla Isalean Shake and added a banana and two strawberries to it.  Heaven.   Took the dog out and really felt good…focused and energetic.  Did a little work, snacked on some almonds, and watched the clock until it was almost time for my first REAL food.  I had gone to lunch with my brother on my first cleanse day Sunday, and he got a grilled chicken buffalo wrap with a salad.  I’ve been craving it ever since.

So, I rolled down to the Blake Street Tavern, which is just down the road from my house and ordered it up.  5 minutes later, it was in front of me.

Oh. My.  God.  It was the most amazing thing I’ve ever eaten!  :) It’s the first time I’ve been “full” for a few days…it felt good.  That said…I think my stomach has definitely shrunk, because I filled up rather quickly.  I feel great now.

Today is the first true test for me.  I play racquetball around 4 pm today.   Since I play often, I know my typical energy level and how I move on the court.  I’m excited to see how I move minus the 6 lbs I’ve lost on this cleanse so far. (I’m curious to see if I’ve gained any back today after eating a shake for breakfast and a real lunch)

Anyway…I highly recommend this.  I feel really good so far…we’ll see how the rest of the week goes.

Incidentally, if you’re part of the corporate world, it can be tough to do shake/lunch/shake, or cleanse days while you’re working.  I recommend doing the cleanse days on the weekend, then either doing shake/lunch/shake, or shake/shake/dinner  if you have to take clients out.  You can supplement your shake days with carrots, almonds, Isagenix Snacks!, and IsaDelight Chocolates.  They definitely make the shake days very manageable.   The 30 day cleanse comes with 30 days of shakes, whereas the 9 Day Cleanse I got only covers 9 days of shakes.  So, I’ll be out of the product at the end of it, and will have to order more.  Hindsight is 20/20, I guess.

Til tomorrow.

Isagenix Cleanse, Day 3

Hola.  It’s Monday at about 3 pm.  I’m a little tired from a terrible night’s sleep, but I feel really good otherwise.  Today is the 2nd of two cleanse days.  For those of you that are keeping score, I started with one “precleanse” day on Saturday where I just had a shake for breakfast, a regular lunch (not McDonald’s, of course) and a shake for dinner.  Then, yesterday was my first cleanse day using the Isagenix Cleanse.  You drink 4 oz. of the cleanse 4 times a day.

So, I really blew it in a couple of ways. The first thing I did was just order the Isagenix 9-Day Cleanse.  Frankly, it was all I could afford at the time.  Had I known then what I know now, I would have either gotten the 30 Day Cleanse Pak, or the Shake and Cleanse pak.  Both of those come with so much more “supporting” product for the cleanse.  It’s not easy to just drink a cleanse solution for an entire day, never mind two.  They have a very specific schedule that you should follow with these Amino Acid enriched chocolate “Isa Delights”, their “Want more energy” drink powder, and “Snacks!”, which are these chocolate wafers.    I had no “want more energy?” and no “Isa Delights”.  The Isa Delights are really cool…if you melt them in your mouth, the Amino Acids go right to the brain receptors that tell your body you’re hungry…and you aren’t hungry anymore.  So, when you follow the schedule they prescribe, you feel good on your cleanse day.  Instead, I took my 2nd 4 oz. of the day, then went and played drums for 3 hours.  It was 6 hours between any kind of food intake for me, and I completely bonked.  I got a terrible headache that persisted almost all night.  I felt better when I got home, had a couple almonds, some more cleanse (it’s got tons of nutrients so your body is satiated), and some Want More Energy? drink.

I watched a little TV and went to bed, but my head was starting to pound again.  I had really messed up.  I tossed and turned, and at about 4 AM, I couldn’t take it anymore.  I ate a handful of almonds, a bit of banana, and 4 Ibuprofen.  I slept soundly after that until about 8:30…and felt actually really good in the morning, save for my tired eyes.

Today I went to a meeting with Kenyon, then went to the gym for a quick workout.  They tell you it’s good to do about 20 minutes of exercise.  So, I hit the weight room for some light weights, and hit a little racquetball.  But that’s not the good part.  When I got to the gym, I jumped on the scale (The same one I weighed myself on last Thursday at 172lbs) and was down to 166lbs!!!  I lost 6 lbs in my first 3 days! I was pretty shocked, and very happy with that result.  I might even get down into the 150′s by the end of the 9 days…a number I haven’t seen since my mid-20′s!

Tomorrow I’ll have “real” food for the first time since Saturday.  That first breakfast shake is going to be the best thing I’ve ever eaten, I’m sure.  :)

This is definitely not an easy process..but an effective one, surely.   I’m excited to see what the rest of the week will bring, in terms of energy and fitness.   If you have a few lbs. to lose, this is a great way to start a routine of eating better and ultimately, feeling better.

Until tomorrow…
